Putting Women at the Front of the Workforce

Back to Case Studies

Maxed BPO made a conscious decision to build a workplace where women are not just represented but central. Through targeted recruitment, flexible working, and a promotion pipeline built for equity, women now make up the majority of our workforce and a growing share of our leadership.

When Maxed BPO committed to employing more women, we treated it as a business strategy rather than a box-ticking exercise. We knew that women in our communities faced disproportionate barriers to formal work — from caregiving responsibilities to hiring bias — and that removing those barriers would unlock an enormous pool of talent.

We started with recruitment. Job adverts were rewritten to remove language that quietly discouraged women from applying, interview panels were balanced, and we actively sought candidates returning to work after career breaks. The message was simple and consistent: this is a place where women are wanted and will thrive.

Retention mattered just as much as hiring. We introduced flexible shifts, supportive parental policies, and safe transport arrangements for staff working outside standard hours. These practical changes made it possible for women to stay and grow with us rather than drop out of the workforce.

The results speak for themselves. Women now make up the majority of our teams and an ever-increasing share of our supervisors, team leads, and managers. Just as importantly, they are visibly leading — mentoring new recruits and proving, every day, what an inclusive workplace can achieve.

For us, this is not a finished project but a standard we hold ourselves to. Every hiring cycle and every promotion round is a fresh chance to make sure the women who power our company can also rise within it.
